Super Facialist range | Beauty by the Bunny

When Super Facialist contacted me, I was given the choice of what issues I wanted to work on with my skin. I’m quite lucky that I rarely get spots and that my skin is relatively clear at the moment, but I am starting to worry about the loss of firmness in my skin and I also feel it’s a little bit dull.

I opted for products from their Hyaluronic Acid Firming range and their Vitamin C Brightening range as I felt that these would be the best fit for me.

Super Facialist Vitamin C Cleansing Oil | Beauty by the BunnyWhen it comes to removing the old warpaint from my face I have an arsenal of products I like to use and I am a recent convert to cleansing oils.

I’d heard a lot of good things about the Skin Renew Cleansing Oil, so this has been the only thing I’ve used for the last 30 days. Super Facialist describe this as the ‘ultimate cleansing experience’ and that you’ll be left with fresher and more revived skin. It’s a lightweight cleansing oil and it is infused with Vitamin C, and Olive, Grapeseed and Rosehip Oils, so you know it’s going to be nourishing on the skin. The oil is also boosted with Vitamin E, Rosemary Oil and Cucumber Oil, all of which are ingredients my skin loves, so I was optimistic.

As soon as the oil makes contact with water it turns into a light milky texture and it smells gorgeous. It did remove my makeup, even my mascara, and my skin did feel nicely cleansed and nourished. My only issue is that it made my eyes sting a little. I don’t think I can blame that on the oil to be fair – recently everything is irritating my eyes from mascara to skin care. Despite the irritation, I continued with the oil for the full month and I do really like it. I think as soon as I find out what is going on with my eyes at the moment, this could become a permanent fixture in my routine.

Super Facialist Vitamin C Micro Polish Wash | Beauty by the Bunny

I always double cleanse at the end of the day, and in the mornings I like to use a good face wash, so I’ve been really enjoying using the gentle daily micro polish wash.

It works to gently cleanse, resurface and polish the skin. I’m always looking for more radiant skin, so this has been a pleasure to use and I will definitely be stocking up on this. I’ve been using this alone in the morning and after the Cleansing Oil at night and I’ve noticed that my complexion does look brighter and it feels so smooth.

The wash has a gel texture that feels nice and light and not heavy like some gel washes can. It contains biodegradable micro-beads that are gentle but still remove the dead skin and daily impurities lurking in the skin. The addition of antioxidant Ferulic Acid and Vitamins C and E help to promote brighter skin and it really does work. I’d say it took about a fortnight to notice a difference in the brightness, but you notice how clean and refreshed your skin feels pretty much from the first use.

Super Facialist Hyaluronic Acid Intense Facial Serum | Beauty by the BunnyAfter I’ve cleansed (and normally toned but that wasn’t an option for the past month), I always use a serum.

I have a drawer full of serums as I love them and this one appealed to me as it contains Hyaluronic Acid which my skin loves as it boosts moisture. As well as the acid, it contains a high potency firming peptide that works to promote skin smoothness and elasticity – this is something I’m starting to care more and more about as I hit the wrong side of 30. The skin’s radiance is boosted by Hibiscus Extract and it also contains Copper and Calcium which also increase the skin’s overall glow and healthiness.

After a month of use, I have noticed that my skin does feel firmer and it definitely feels a lot smoother and more moisturised. I don’t know whether I can put this down solely to the serum, as the next three products are from the same range. I do definitely think that it has helped though.

Super Facialist Hyaluronic Acid Eye Cream | Beauty by the BunnyEye creams are one of those items that I use religiously but never notice a huge difference from, if I’m being perfectly honest.

Maybe that means that they’re doing their job, all I know is that I use them and hope that they’re doing what they need to. I do notice if they help reduce puffiness, and this does that but it hasn’t been a huge improvement. However, it does get to work on the fine lines around the eye and I have noticed that they do look smoother and less pronounced. Has it been a drastic improvement? No, but it has only been a month and as I said, I never notice a massive improvement. Maybe when I’m a bit older and the lines are set in, then I’ll see the change.

The eye cream promises to deal with those fine lines as well as enhancing the skin’s radiance, and that’s never going to be a bad thing when your skin likes to look dull. It also provides UV protection so you have some fight back against the signs of premature ageing. As well as Hyaluronic Acid, it contains minerals and a skin firming tetrapeptide that work alongside naturals to strengthen and hydrate the skin around the eye. Caffeine and Aloe Vera supposedly work to refresh and revive tired puffy eyes – I think it might take a little more than 30 days for any eye cream to deal with how tired my eyes permanently are, but I live in hope.

Hyaluronic Acid Day Cream | Beauty by the BunnyI’ve tried sooo many day creams in the 3 years that I’ve been blogging, so new ones have a lot to live up to. This was the one product I was really wary of trying as I’d been loving the one I’ve been using recently. My skin can get very dry so I need a cream that’s going to keep me feeling moisturised all day as well as making my complexion look healthy – a tough call when dealing with menopausal skin on someone who is permanently ill. I expect a lot from my creams, and if it can make me look younger too then I’m in. So not too much pressure on this product then.

I have to say I’ve enjoyed using this. Ok, so it’s not my favourite day cream ever, but it is lovely to use. It feels nice on the skin and my skin has definitely felt a lot more moisturised since I’ve been using it. The formula of Shea Butter, UV filters, skin firmers, Hyaluronic Acid, Hibiscus extract and a plumping tetrapeptide work together to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles whilst rebuilding the skin’s natural collagen. I’ve definitely noticed that my skin does feel plumper and firmer and I’m certainly going to finish the pot off and see the results.

Super Facialist Hyaluronic Acid Night Cream | Beauty by the BunnyLast but not least, we have the night cream and I love me a good night cream.

I will admit that I’ve missed using my night oils a lot and they’re coming straight back into my routine, but this is a lovely product. Even on my laziest day I make sure to use a night cream as night time is when the skin repairs itself and it does all the work whilst I dream of winning the lottery and being a size 8 (I really don’t ask for much).

As well as optimising cellular renewal, this cream also improves the skin’s radiance and youthful appearance which is music to my bunny ears. As well as the Hyaluronic Acid and firming peptide that is a constant in this range, it also contains Sweet Almond Oil, Copper and Calcium to help tone, plump and retexturise the skin. I have noticed that when I wake up in the morning, my skin feels hydrated, nourished and plumper. This is staying in the skincare rotation.

Well that was a long post, but I like to be thorough. I have really enjoyed my experience of using Super Facialist products and I will definitely be taking a look at what else they have on offer.

Super Facialist has a new skincare diagnostic tool that will help you to identify the skin concerns you have and the products you need to use which I think is a great idea and is well worth checking out so that you can #BeYourOwnSuperFacialist.
